Timothy LeScholarship Announcements

Congratulations to seniors Timothy Le & Jorge Portillo and junior Minh Trang Nguyen! Tim has already earned 3 awards including the prestigious Gates Millenium Scholarship and Dell Scholar Award. Jorge is on his way to becoming a computer programmer with his full-tuition Teaching Forward Scholarship. Minh was awarded a $5000 scholarship from the Hawaii chapter of Executive Women International and is now a finalist for a national award. Well done and good luck to all of you!

2009 State Champions

Congratulations to Taylor Ibera, 2009 HHSAA Hall of Honor Inductee and 4-time Girls Judo State Champion in the 98-pound weight class and this year's State Shot Put Champion in Girls Track & Field, Junitta Fonoti, younger sister of UH Warrior football player and FHS alum John Fonoti!

Big Ups to the undefeated Govs Surf Team, placing #1 overall at their State Championships with the Body Boarders crowned champions in that category!

(Cerritos, CA) - The FHSMAA will once again have a booth at the Hawaii InterClub Council of Southern California annual Ho`olaulea at Alondra Park in Southern California on July 18-19. At the boutique booth we will be taking merchandise orders and selling plants to help raise funds for our scholarship program…

Students are discouraged from taking “personal vacations” during the scheduled school year. Students who choose to leave school for more than 2 weeks during non-scheduled recess times will be released from Farrington. This will likely cause the student to lose final credit for work already completed.

Note: Students will be routed to room A121 for ID paperwork, then the Library to take pictures for the yearbook and student ID badges. Schedules will be distributed in the Library. Annual student dues are to be paid at the Business Office in the front hallway anytime starting June 22nd.
Payments - Student Dues/Fees
Avoid a long payment line. Use the mail-in form provided with your report card or pay in person at the Business Office during normal office hours.
All Students $30.00
Student fees must be paid every year. Benefits include the school newspaper, a planner/calendar for every student, school functions, class activities, special events and participation in athletics.

Enrollment - New Students

Registrations Daily: 7:15 AM - 11:00 AM only
Students not currently enrolled in a Kalihi Middle School must meet the following requirements:
  1. Parent/Student must provide evidence they reside in the Farrington Complex Area, e.g., 2 utility bills with name and address.
  2. Bring the previous releasing school documents.
  3. Complete medical records: physical exam, TB clearance, immunizations
    (DTP, Polio, MMR-Measles/Mumps/Rubella, Varicella-Chicken Pox, Hepatitis B)
  4. Birth Certificate if new to Hawaii schools.

  1. Complete A Transcript Request Form
    Available in Registrar's Office, Room A134 (next to Business Office), during normal business hours or download a copy.
  2. Charge per transcript: $1.00, Same Day Service: $5.00

Note: All transcripts for those from the Classes of 1983 and earlier are only available through the Special Services Section of the Honolulu District Office. Please call 808-733-4940 to request documents.
